Description
- Mainspring is seeking a high-energy, commercially driven Director of Public Power Origination to lead commercial strategy and transaction execution across Municipalities, Electric Cooperatives, and IOUs.
- The role is outward-facing and responsible for bringing existing utility and public power relationships, pitching Mainspring’s value proposition, opening doors at the executive level, and driving high-value, complex transactions from handshake to financial close.
- Responsibilities include sourcing, structuring, negotiating and closing equipment sales, long-term service agreements, capacity contracts, and partnerships; representing Mainspring at industry conferences and meetings; positioning Mainspring's Linear Generator for urgent utility needs; leading complex negotiations and responses to solicitations (RFPs) and IRP engagements; and providing market intelligence to influence product strategy.
