Description
- We are looking for a Senior Snowflake & Databricks Data Engineer to support a Snowflake-to-Databricks migration project.
- The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with both Snowflake and Databricks, with a proven background in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and modern data platforms.
- You will be responsible for supporting data migration activities, building and optimizing data pipelines, implementing transformation logic, and ensuring reliable data processing across Snowflake and Databricks environments.
- This is a remote contractor opportunity open to candidates based in any LATAM timezone.
- Spanish language proficiency is required.

Requirements
- Senior-level experience in Data Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (DBX) and Spark-based data processing
- Experience with Snowflake-to-Databricks migration projects is highly preferred
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with complex data transformations
- Experience with Python and modern data engineering tools
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development
- Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar
- Ability to work independently in a remote contractor environment
- Fluent Spanish communication skills, Strong technical and business English (oral, reading and writing)
- Availability to work within LATAM time zones
