Description
  • Halcyon is the industry’s first dedicated, adaptive security platform focused on stopping ransomware, formed in 2021 by cyber industry veterans.
  • As a remote-native, distributed team, Halcyon offers a dynamic environment for those eager to grow their sales career in cybersecurity.
  • The Business Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting and outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and industry events; connecting with decision-makers to uncover challenges; partnering with Account Executives and Marketing; maintaining accurate pipeline records; and staying current on security threats and trends.
  • The role requires at least 1+ year of sales or business development experience (cybersecurity or SaaS preferred), excellent communication skills, resilience, experience with Salesforce and sales tools, and a passion for cybersecurity.

Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in sales or business development (cybersecurity or SaaS preferred).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High resilience, persistence, and a growth mindset — thrives in fast-paced, startup environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce and modern sales tools (e.g., Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong).
  • Passion for cybersecurity and a desire to build a long-term sales career.
