Description
- As a Staff Security Researcher on the Application Security team, you will perform cutting-edge security research across multiple specialty areas focused on GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform, Duo Agent Platform, GitLab Duo Chat, and agent workflows.
- You will develop novel testing methodologies (including for AI agent security), conduct hands-on penetration testing and proof-of-concept exploits, assess emerging vulnerability classes against the codebase and drive class-level remediation, build tooling and automation to scale research (including agent-assisted discovery), evaluate the security posture of open source dependencies and report findings, define and implement technical and process security improvements, contribute to the team roadmap, provide actionable feedback to engineering teams, mentor other contributors, and share knowledge with the security community.
