Description
- At EX Squared LATAM, we partner with international companies to build sophisticated, data-driven platforms with a strong focus on usability and design excellence.
- We are looking for a Lead UI/UX Design Engineer to drive the visual and interactive direction of a complex, multi-application platform—bridging design thinking and frontend engineering.
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of UX, UI systems, and technical implementation, and enjoys mentoring others while shaping scalable design systems.
- Responsibilities include leading the development of design systems, designing reusable UI components, collaborating with stakeholders, implementing responsive and accessible interfaces, defining design standards, reviewing UI implementations, conducting user research, mentoring junior designers, documenting component usage, and staying updated with UX trends.
- Requirements include 5+ years in UI/UX Design Engineering, experience with design systems, UI frameworks like Mantine, proficiency with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD, knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), conducting user research, strong communication skills in English, and availability for synchronous collaboration during EST hours.
- Nice-to-have skills include experience with data-heavy interfaces, data visualization, and complex form design.
