Description
- The Researcher, Emerging Technologies and AI Literacy at Digital Promise is responsible for developing an evidence base to support the organization's AI Literacy initiatives.
- The role involves designing curricular and pedagogical resources, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and facilitating learning experiences for educators, learners, and communities.
- The position emphasizes equitable implementation of AI literacy, fostering collaboration, measuring impact, and advocating for innovative and inclusive educational practices.
- The Researcher will also create resources, host convenings, manage project budgets, and represent Digital Promise at conferences.
- Staying current with trends in AI and emerging technologies, the role requires a strong commitment to equity and diversity, with a focus on eliminating opportunity gaps for historically excluded learners.
- The position is hybrid, with travel up to 30%, and offers a competitive salary based on experience and location, with benefits including health coverage, paid time off, and retirement contributions.

Requirements
- A master’s degree or higher in Education, Learning Technologies, Emerging Technologies, Instructional Design, or a related field; Doctorate preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in education, including classroom, digital learning, and learning technologies.
- Experience leading and managing implementation projects in education.
- Track record in emerging technologies, especially generative AI tools for PK-12.
- Experience developing and implementing project management processes, human-centered design, and solution development.
- Ability to produce high-quality tools, reports, and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects, including program design and evaluation.
- Knowledge of the education sector, solutions marketplace, and innovative education models.
- Experience developing partnerships and managing projects on time and within budget.
- Commitment to equity-centered approaches and communicating with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and travel as needed.
- Passion for learning, teamwork, creativity, and a positive attitude.
