Description
- The AI Engineer will be responsible for moving models out of notebooks and into live, scalable systems, collaborating with engineers and the broader DAIA team to operationalize machine learning and generative AI models at enterprise scale.
- Responsibilities include designing and supporting AI systems, creating data pipelines, ensuring platform performance and security, and translating complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Science
- At least 2 years of experience working with large language models
- Ability to design, develop, and deploy machine learning and Generative AI solutions at scale
- Proficiency in Python data manipulation and analysis libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
- Strong engineering fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms, clean/testable code)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehousing, data wrangling, preprocessing, and building data pipelines
- Experience with building AI tooling and frameworks such as Cortex, OpenAI API, Anthropic API, LangChain, semantic search, and vector databases
- Familiarity with automation software (e.g., Zapier, UiPath, Gumloop)
- Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent frameworks such as LangChain, Pydantic, AI, or n8n
- Experience building applications using AWS services; AWS Bedrock and Sagemaker a plus
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to think strategically about AI solutions creating business value
- Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
