Description
- You'll own a mostly greenfield enterprise territory with a core focus on generating new logos.
- New business often starts from teams already running ClickHouse (open source or Cloud) until bills or security reviews escalate opportunity to platform teams and budget owners.
- Common triggers include high Elasticsearch or Splunk bills, warehouses unable to serve customer-facing features quickly, or AI products querying massive datasets.
- Responsibilities include owning the full sales cycle for new and existing accounts, growing install base by landing new teams/use cases, owning renewals and consumption commitments with Solutions Architects and Support, monitoring consumption trends and engaging early on usage signals, converting existing ClickHouse usage in new accounts, multi-threading across stakeholders (data platform teams, budget owners, security, executive sponsors), running procurement (security questionnaires, legal redlines, vendor onboarding), building internal business cases (TCO comparisons, migration plans), mapping teams and use cases for expansion plans, keeping Salesforce accurate, submitting reliable forecasts, and participating in local developer community events such as meetups and conferences.
