Description
  • The Regional Director at Baron Capital is a sales professional responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within the RIA channel, Bank Trust organizations, and Family Offices, focusing on the West territory including California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Alaska, and Hawaii.
  • The role involves delivering investment strategies, managing all stages of the sales cycle, and working closely with an assigned hybrid wholesaler.
  • Key responsibilities include presenting portfolios, demonstrating performance and ethics, and extensive travel (up to 75%).
  • The candidate must have at least 3 years of external financial sales experience specific to the RIA channel, with a bachelor’s degree required and Series 7 and 63 licenses.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, proven relationships with RIAs, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • The position offers a salary range of $150,000 - $250,000 USD, plus commissions, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, gym access, and employee discounts.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years external financial services sales experience specific to the RIA channel, with a high degree of demonstrated success
  • Bachelor’s degree a MUST, Master’s degree and/or CFA a plus
  • Must have Series 7 and 63
  • Existing coverage of a large part of this territory with existing relationships a significant plus
  • Strong knowledge of the financial markets and ability to articulate accordingly
  • Demonstrated high level of performance and results in a recent/prior and similar financial sales role
  • Ability to capture, increase, and retain market share
  • Extensive & proven relationships with RIAs, bank trust departments, and family offices a plus
  • In-depth industry and product knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Management of an assigned territory as your own business
  • Experience developing and implementing sales and marketing business plans
  • Highly accountable and self-motivated
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 75%)
