- Arootah is partnering with a confidential alternative investment manager to identify a Trading & Operations Manager to join its growing team.
- This is an opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial investment firm where you'll play a key role supporting both trading and investment operations.
- The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and help build scalable operational processes as the firm continues to grow.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to make a meaningful impact within a growing asset management business.
- Responsibilities include executing daily trading activity across client portfolios, overseeing investment operations for multiple investment vehicles, managing trade settlement and cash movements, coordinating with custodians and brokers, supporting operational due diligence requests, monitoring operational controls, and assisting with additional trading and operational responsibilities as the firm continues to grow.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in trading operations, investment operations, middle office, or a related function within asset management, hedge funds, family offices, or investment advisory firms.
- Experience supporting institutional investment products and/or separately managed accounts.
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, investment operations, and cash management.
- Equity trading experience required; familiarity with listed options is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with custodians, prime brokers, and other investment service providers.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.

- $125,000 - $175,000 a year
