- We’re looking for a Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer to design and deploy intelligent systems to automate infrastructure workflows. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies—LLMs, knowledge graphs, and advanced retrieval systems—to build scalable, agentic systems.
- You’ll rapidly prototype, experiment, and take projects from concept to production. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about applied AI, this is the role for you.
- As our next Senior Applied ML Engineer, you should have at least 5 years of experience in applied machine learning or a related role, preferably at a high-growth company, plus:
- Demonstrated ability to design and deploy large-scale information retrieval systems and/or search backends.
- Experience constructing and running evaluation pipelines.
- Proven experience pre-training language models and language modeling.
- Proficient in Python and Typescript, with experience using common ML libraries and data engineering tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on creating highly maintainable, scalable code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable with iterative development, prototyping, and adapting quickly to feedback.
- Hands-on experience with vector search.
- A passion for staying ahead of applied AI trends and prototyping emerging technologies.
- Contributions to open-source ML tools or libraries.
- Compensation
- Estimated Base Salary $220-260K — Offers Equity
