We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Group & Events Manager.
This pivotal role is responsible for the meticulous planning, execution, and flawless delivery of all group bookings and special events onboard and ashore, including events for Charters.
This Manager will operate within the commercial team of Orient Express Sailing Yachts.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary with a passion for luxury hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to curate unique and memorable experiences for a diverse range of high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and other discerning private groups.
Key Responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for all group clients, collaborating closely with sales and reservations teams, designing bespoke itineraries, managing group logistics, overseeing financial aspects of group bookings, and ensuring seamless coordination between departments.
The role also involves planning and executing a diverse range of onboard and ashore events, building strong relationships with group leaders, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the continuous improvement of group and event offerings.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in event management, group sales, or client relations, specifically with high-net-worth individuals, luxury brands, or exclusive private client groups.
Proven track record of successfully planning and executing complex events for discerning clientele.
Demonstrated ability to creatively design and effectively present bespoke itineraries and experiences to clients.
Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, negotiating with vendors, and leading or significantly contributing to a team.
Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of what constitutes true quality.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and event management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, multicultural team in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm and effective under pressure.
