In addition, I have a strong background in data entry and analysis using Excel, Graph Pad, SPSS, and R. I am able to prepare study reports and assist with abstract and manuscript preparation. In addition to my technical skills, I also have experience in departmental management, including staffing decisions, administrative responsibilities, recruiting, training, and budget management. I am able to maintain good relations and contact with government representatives and negotiate funding agreements, as well as adjust between budget lines during the year and set budgets while maintaining finances within tight constraints. My experience in managing budgets and resources will be beneficial in this role as I help the department achieve its research goals. Lastly, I am highly interested in working at The University of Calgary because of its location.
