Operationally coordinate project activities on site
in collaboration with local staff and partners; Monitor the progress of projects and supervise the reporting of activities; Take care of relations with institutional
academic and civil society partners involved in the two projects; Ensure an effective flow of information and decision-making between the operating offices in Kenya and the headquarters in Italy; Supervise the work of local collaborators and support the growth of COL’OR Kenya staff; Actively participate in the organization of activities
missions
events and on-site partnership meetings. Requirements required Degree in disciplines related to international development
agronomy
economics
international relations or the like; Certified experience of at least 5 years in the management of international development cooperation projects
preferably co-financed by AICS
EU or other institutional donors; In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following areas: social innovation
youth entrepreneurship
sustainable agriculture Excellent coordination
planning
staff management and interpersonal relationships; Many years of field work experience in African contexts
preferably in Kenya ( a minimum three-year experience in the country ) constitutes a preferential title; Excellent knowledge of the English language
written and spoken ( constitutes a preferential title a knowledge of ki-swahili ); Ability to draw up reports and project documentation in Italian and English.
