1-5 years’ experience in implementing safety
environmental and/or industrial hygiene programs in a manufacturing arena. Strong safety regulatory knowledge and expertise required including OHSA
EPA and provincial regulations. Demonstrated leadership in driving a program/system of safety and/or environmental. Experience with hazard recognition
behavioral-based safety
job hazard analysis and Process Hazards Analysis desired. Must have a good working knowledge of safety
and health standards in order to conduct audits and perform evaluations. Ability to interact with site level manufacturing/business management
community
elected officials and non-government organizations as well as
state and federal regulatory agencies Strong written and verbal communication skills including a high level of comfort developing and delivering training and motivational presentations to all levels of associates is a must
