Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in database Administration
- At least 2-3 years in AWS or Azure cloud environments
- Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting
- Strong proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
- Exposure to third-party tools for database benchmarking
- Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation
- Experience with SQL Server versions 2019+
- Experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance
- Ability to administer, configure, and maintain database instances in production
- Monitor database performance and optimize code
- Design backup and recovery strategies
- Manage patch installations with minimal disruption
- Use monitoring tools like SQL Sentry, Redgate, SolarWinds, New Relic
- Create and maintain documentation for database configurations and policies
