  • As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will serve as the critical bridge between our customers, business development organization, and engineering teams. Unlike a traditional sales engineer role, the Solutions Architect role at webAI focuses less on direct sales execution and more on deeply understanding customer business requirements, translating them into actionable insights for product and engineering teams, and ensuring our solutions deliver measurable business value. You will also mentor junior SAs and play a pivotal role in improving how we connect customer needs with technology strategy.
  • This role is that of a generalist SA, hands-on, technical, and client-facing. It requires someone who is eager to understand complex business environments, translate customer needs into solution strategies, and help guide the delivery of scalable, future-focused capabilities. The position requires up to 25% travel to customer sites or webAI offices, depending on customer needs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, Partner/Channel Engineering, Technical Marketing, or similar role, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Strong background in enterprise technology, ideally with SaaS, cloud, networking, security, AI/ML, or data-driven solutions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and strategic accounts to uncover and shape customer requirements.
  • Experience driving collaboration between business development/sales and engineering/product teams.
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, and consultative customer engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales processes and tools (i.e., Salesforce) combined with hands-on familiarity with technical tools (e.g., APIs, Kubernetes, automation, software-development lifecycle).
