Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of compliance, regulatory, or risk management experience in the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Proven working knowledge of consumer protection regulations and applicable laws, including FDCPA, FCRA, ECOA, TILA, EFTA, GLBA, SCRA, and UDAAP and related State laws.
  • Operational expertise in operationalizing a compliance program, including developing monitoring and testing procedures, drafting policies/procedures, and managing remediation efforts.
  • Experience supporting or maintaining components of a Compliance Management System (e.g., monitoring, documentation, training, issue remediation).
  • Ability to communicate complex compliance requirements clearly to cross-functional partners and drive consensus on risk decisions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter mentality with a strong sense of personal accountability and ownership.
  • Strong commitment to ethics and exercising good judgment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and take on evolving responsibilities.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence.
  • CRCM, other Compliance Certifications, or JD are a plus.
