Description
- We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our Team as a Security Guard!! Our Security Guard will monitor the facility and protect property from possible criminal activity.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to management.
- Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors facility traffic.
- Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
- After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
- Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property.
- Identifies persons suspected of criminal activity and reports information to law enforcement.
- Ensures discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties do not enter the premises.
- Inspects and maintains cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
- Ensures fixed and mobile light fixtures are operating.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Requirements:
- Job Qualifications:
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Authoritative verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience a plus, but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
- Ability to enter and exit vehicle and push gates open or close and during potential extreme weather.
- Prolonged periods sitting in a vehicle and monitoring gates and surveillance equipment.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
