  • This role is responsible for expanding StackAdapt’s presence among key Holdcos such as Dentsu, Hakuhodo DY Group, ADK, WPP, Publicis, and IPG, and ensuring StackAdapt is seen as both a self-service and managed-service partner for our clients.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams—including Account Management, Strategy, and Product—to ensure best-in-class client solutions.
  • This is a senior individual contributor role with significant visibility and strategic importance in Japan’s business growth.
  • StackAdapt is a remote first company, however our Sales teams are regionalized.
  • For this role we are prioritizing candidates located in Japan.
  • The role involves identifying, pitching, and closing platform sales opportunities, developing account strategies, building relationships, and exceeding sales targets.
  • The candidate will also represent StackAdapt at industry events, understand market trends, and partner cross-functionally to ensure client success.
  • The role requires 5–8 years of experience in digital media or programmatic advertising sales, with proven success managing complex enterprise accounts, deep understanding of Japan’s advertising landscape, and excellent communication skills in Japanese and English.

Requirements
  • 5–8 years of experience in digital media or programmatic advertising sales, ideally with large agency networks
  • Proven success managing complex enterprise-level accounts
  • Deep understanding of Japan’s advertising landscape and key Holdco structures
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to tell a data-driven story
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
  • Willingness to travel for client and industry meetings
