Description
  • This position is required to perform all duties of the Chief Operating Officer.
  • This position will be responsible for ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as overseeing management, financial responsibility, and continued development of Southern Colorado Clinic.
  • The Chief Operating Officer will represent the clinic in all media contacts, insurance negotiations, and ensure budgets are met within the Income Distribution Plan (IDP).
  • Responsibilities include management and administration tasks such as developing long-range plans, participating in organizations, maintaining policies, coordinating with department managers, mediating between departments, reviewing performance, and overseeing employee and insurance policies.
  • Financial responsibilities involve acting as liaison with accounting, building budgets, managing financial statements, tax obligations, and assisting with audits.
  • The role also oversees physician income distribution, manages compliance as HIPAA officer, and ensures adherence to laws and regulations.
  • Up to 50% travel may be required to support business needs.
