Description
- SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking Korean Linguists to support a US Government Client.
- Linguists will serve as subject matter experts and leverage Korean and their cultural expertise to translate materials and documents into English language products.
- Essential duties include summarizing and translating Korean printed, electronic, or audio/visual material into clear, idiomatically correct English, leveraging cultural and media knowledge, adhering to client style and standards, and meeting deadlines including same-day delivery.
- The role requires a high school diploma and three years of relevant experience, proficiency at least 4/4+ (ILR) level in Korean, and experience with open source research, social media analysis, and workflow support.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and experience supporting the Intelligence Community.
- The work environment is remote.

- Expertise related to country and surrounding regions where Korean is spoken natively
- Experience with open source research and support, product creation and dissemination, collection management and workflow support
- Experience in open source social media collection, analysis, and exploitation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to engage collaboratively and effectively in a virtual environment within a diverse team
- Strong time and task management skills
