Description
- Smartsheet is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst with a proactive mindset for automation and process improvement to join our high-growth SaaS organization.
- This role involves managing payroll operations across EMEA and APAC, supporting international expansion, ensuring compliance, and enhancing payroll systems.
- Responsibilities include processing payroll, managing regional tax compliance, leading year-end processes, supporting audits, and collaborating with global teams.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with payroll processing, especially in EMEA and APAC, and hands-on experience with Workday and CloudPay.
- They should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Fluency in English and legal eligibility to work in India are required.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience processing EMEA and/or APAC payrolls and supporting international payroll operations
- Strong working knowledge of regional payroll and tax regulations
- Hands-on experience with Workday and CloudPay (Experience with Workday testing preferred)
- Familiarity with related tools such as OSV Atmosphere, OSV Support, or regional pension dashboards
- Understanding of stock-based compensation (ESPP, RSUs, ISOs, NQs) and their associated tax impacts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail
- Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, global environment and manage competing priorities effectively
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
- A continuous improvement mindset, with proven experience driving automation and scalability in payroll processes
- ADP implementation experience is highly desirable
- Legally eligible to work in India on an ongoing basis
- Fluency in English is required
