Description
- Sift is seeking a senior-level Technical Writer to own, lead, and scale their documentation function.
- The role includes architecting the documentation ecosystem, establishing standards, mentoring a small team, and collaborating with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to create clear, accurate, and usable documentation for advanced engineering systems.
- Responsibilities include writing API references, tutorials, onboarding guides, conceptual docs, and managing information architecture.
- The candidate will also oversee content discoverability, manage repositories, and ensure documentation quality and accessibility.
- The position requires working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation releases.
- The role is based in El Segundo, CA, with options for remote work from the San Francisco area or relocation to LA.
- Salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.
