Description
- The Senior Revenue Accountant at ServiceNow is responsible for partnering with multiple teams across offices to monitor US GAAP and SEC developments, ensuring revenue recognition procedures comply with standards such as ASC 606.
- The role includes implementing controls, completing month-end close activities, revenue reconciliation, and management reporting.
- The position also involves supporting process improvements, training on revenue recognition policies, and contract analysis review.
- Candidates should have experience with revenue recognition standards, CPA designation, and familiarity with SaaS or software industry accounting practices.
- The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a team environment.

Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- 4+ years of experience with a background in a Big 4 public accounting firm preferred.
- Active CPA designation and industry accounting experience.
- Experience applying SAB 104 and EITF 08-1 as it relates to SaaS or software companies (or experience with EITF 00-21).
- Working knowledge of current literature related to revenue recognition.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter.
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Experience with MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
