Description
- The goal of this team is to ensure innovation and supply at the right price, with sustainability and quality as our guiding stars in product development.
- Rituals is seeking a Product & Packaging Buyer for the Body Category to strengthen their Sourcing team.
- The role involves bringing body products like Shower Foams and Body Creams to life, ensuring they meet Rituals standards from sourcing to delivery.
- The position requires a strong commercial mindset, operational excellence, and collaboration with teams across Innovation, Supply Chain, and Quality, as well as global suppliers.
- The buyer will manage supplier relationships, support negotiations, ensure product launches are flawless, and uphold sustainability and quality standards.
- The role offers the opportunity to influence product development and sourcing, working in an international environment to create meaningful wellbeing products.
- Key responsibilities include managing supplier performance, preparing business cases, leading negotiations, ensuring capacity and timelines, and supporting compliance and cost-saving initiatives.
- The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, analytical, and fluent in English, with 3-5 years of experience in cosmetics procurement, product development, or contract manufacturing.
- The role is based in Amsterdam at the Central Head Office, requiring on-site presence, with flexible working options available but no remote work support.

- Analytical, structured, and collaborative work style
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, procurement, supply chain, or a similar field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the cosmetics industry: procurement of cosmetics ingredients/packaging, product development, or contract manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for turning data and trends into insights
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities
- Stakeholder management skills and effective communication across teams
- Collaborative, confident, and influential
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
