Description
  • As an Account Executive with Popmenu, you’ll be part of a growing sales team whose mission is to revolutionize the way restaurants do business.
  • You will work collaboratively with your regional team to develop strategies and messaging that drive awareness and sustain a strong client pipeline.
  • As an owner of relationships, you play a critical role in strengthening our client portfolio in both new and established markets—accelerating growth for both Popmenu and the restaurant industry.
  • Our Account Executives are innovators in prospecting, skilled at articulating the long-term ROI of restaurant technology and enthusiastic about our product and purpose.
  • Our sales team is not here to simply sell; Popmenu is a true partner for restaurants—we’re here to empower owners and operators with the technology tools that will keep them successful long into the future.
  • This is a remote role, required to be based in New York City.
  • You’ll be responsible for revenue generation through prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals, managing client expectations, and building strong relationships within the restaurant industry.
  • You will also be involved in product demos, articulating value and ROI, and understanding industry challenges to provide tailored solutions.
  • The role emphasizes a hunter mentality, confidence, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for food and technology.
  • Prior restaurant experience is a plus.

  • Skilled in prospecting, lead generation & closing deals
  • Ambitious, self-motivated self-starter (hunter mentality)
  • Energized working in a high-volume, fast-paced sales environment
  • Confidence and energy in conversations, delivering product demos and articulating value and ROI
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-relations skills in person, in writing, and over the phone
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills
  • Love for food and technology, proficient with smartphones and tablets
  • Experience working in a restaurant (serving, bussing, cooking, managing) is a plus
