Description
- As a Domain Consultant for cloud native security, you will play a key role in defining technical solutions that secure a customer’s key business imperatives.
- You evangelize our industry leading solutions in cloud security that establish Palo Alto Networks as a customer’s cybersecurity partner of choice.
- Your responsibilities include collaborating with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions, presenting as an expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy, assisting with RFIs/RFPs, leading customer demonstrations, and supporting Proof of Value projects.
- You will architect solutions to strengthen and simplify security postures, document high-level designs and key use cases, and help customers develop their services around Prisma Cloud.
- Additionally, you will lead conversations on industry trends, position our solutions against competitors, and ensure proper implementation and value realization of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
- The role requires deep experience in cloud security, IaC tools, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Alicloud, and Oracle Cloud.
- Field sales travel may be required.

Requirements
- 6+ years of technical sales or equivalent experience highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with IaC software tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Cloud Deployment Manager, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (IDEs, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
- Experience with Alicloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud security configuration and administration
- Deep experience in cloud security areas such as Shift Left, CSPM, CWP, KSPM, CIEM, DSPM, AI-SPM
- Background in security domain or cloud security highly preferred
- Understanding of container and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Proficient in English
- Travel may be required for customer meetings
