  • The (Senior) Trade Compliance Analyst will join the EMEA team to ensure full compliance with international trade laws, support regional business operations, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and act as a subject matter expert on trade regulations.
  • Responsibilities include developing trade compliance processes, monitoring regulatory changes, assessing risks, overseeing classification and origin determination, managing export activities, maintaining trade data accuracy, and supporting audits and customs inquiries.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in trade compliance, knowledge of US/EU/UK regulations, proficiency in MS Office, and relevant educational background.
  • Prior experience with export controls, sanctions, and ERP systems like SAP is preferred.

Requirements
  • Experience in trade compliance, including import/export operations, regulatory analysis, and classification activities.
  • Strong knowledge of Harmonized System (HS), ECCN classification, General Rules of Interpretation (GRIs), and Free trade Agreements in the US, UK, and EU.
  • Knowledge of US export controls (EAR) and sanctions, EU/UK Dual-Use regulations, and international trade sanctions regimes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Logistics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with U.S. export controls and sanctions regulations (e.g., EAR, OFAC).
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare sector with industry-specific trade compliance knowledge.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems managing trade compliance data.
