- They are looking for a subject matter expert in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or information security to produce authoritative, accurate content for senior enterprise audiences.
- Responsibilities include writing long-form content on topics such as SOX compliance, risk assessments, cybersecurity frameworks, and internal audit, targeting stakeholders like audit directors, risk managers, CISOs, and IT teams.
- The role requires translating complex technical and regulatory material into clear content, collaborating with editors, staying updated on regulations, and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery.
- The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of B2B content writing experience in SaaS or related fields, familiarity with enterprise tools and frameworks (e.g., SOX, NIST, ISO), and excellent communication skills.
- A portfolio of recent technical writing samples is required.
- The position is a freelance, contract role with remote work in the United States, with an emphasis on quality, accuracy, and engaging storytelling.

Requirements
- 3–5+ years writing B2B content, ideally for SaaS or services in audit, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, or IT governance
- Hands on experience or background in IT operations, security, or compliance roles
- Familiarity with enterprise tools and processes in areas like SOX and internal controls, TPRM, GRC, ERM
- Ability to synthesize SME input and regulatory frameworks into resonant content for senior decision-makers
- Knowledge of frameworks such as SOX, COSO, NIST, ISO, IIA Standards is a major plus
- Comfortable writing for audiences with high trust thresholds—accuracy, clarity, and relevance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical and critical thinking skills
- SEO experience and ability to optimize content without sacrificing quality
- Time management and organizational skills
- Positive attitude, curiosity, passion for content creation, openness to feedback
