- The Software Product Owner acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that clinical and practice management software meets business goals and the specialized needs of ABA clinics and specialty schools.
- Responsibilities include defining and prioritizing the product backlog, designing features, shepherding the product from concept to release, and exceeding customer expectations.
- The role involves leading development of billing and claims components, overseeing eligibility verification, claims submission, payment posting, and denial management, while integrating AI solutions and third-party systems.
- The Product Owner will define and track KPIs, coordinate product releases, support field issue resolution, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Additional responsibilities include defining and maintaining the roadmap for RCM components, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and payer rules, optimizing workflows, leveraging AI to automate processes, and collaborating with finance teams for accurate reporting.
- The role requires translating billing workflows into detailed requirements and working with offshore analysts.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams.
- Ability to write clear and detailed design specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with Jira or similar product management tools.
- Strong technical background (computer science, engineering, or similar).
- Ability to coordinate multi-national and offshore teams.
