- Mercury is building a complete finance stack for startups, focusing on creating a safe and simple banking experience while preventing illegal activities.
- The FCC Modeling & Analytics Manager will drive improvements to Mercury’s transaction monitoring and sanctions models, develop analytics to track FCC program health, and collaborate with risk, engineering, and compliance teams.
- Responsibilities include analyzing customer transactions using SQL and other tools, designing bespoke monitoring rules, translating regulatory requirements into analytical frameworks, maintaining documentation, tuning models to reduce false positives, and identifying emerging financial crime trends.
- The ideal candidate has extensive data analytics experience, FCC/AML knowledge, proficiency in SQL, and experience with Python or R.
- The role offers a competitive salary, stock options, and benefits, with salary ranges depending on location: in the US (NYC, LA, Seattle, SF Bay Area) $166,600 - $208,300; outside these areas $149,900 - $187,500; in Canada CAD $157,400 - 196,800.
