Description
- The Cloud Architect are the technical authorities who translate business requirements into secure, scalable, cost-efficient architectures on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Partnering with sales, delivery, and customer engineering teams, they own solution design, lead technical governance, and guide implementation through best-practice automation (IaC, CI/CD, DevSecOps) and modern patterns (containers, event-driven, serverless, data & AI platforms) to migrate, modernize, and optimize workloads on AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud that meet rigorous performance, security, and cost-efficiency targets.
- Key Responsibilities include crafting cloud architectures, defining multi-account landing zones, establishing reference implementations, championing security and FinOps practices, mentoring engineers, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting pursuit teams, presenting to C-suite, and publishing technical content.
- Qualifications include 8-10+ years of experience with at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP), mentoring experience, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar, strong DevSecOps, SRE, and FinOps knowledge, experience with data platforms and AI/ML integration, client-facing communication skills, exposure to serverless and edge solutions, and relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect).

Requirements
- 8-10+ years experience engineering solutions on at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with mentoring engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or similar.
- Strong grasp of DevSecOps, SRE, and FinOps principles.
- Experience architecting data platforms and/or integrating AI/ML services.
- Proven client-facing communication skills; able to defend architectural decisions with executives and engineers alike.
- Exposure to serverless patterns, event-driven architectures, and edge/IoT solutions.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect (one required, multiples preferred).
