Description

- The Director, Privacy and Compliance will provide strategic leadership across privacy and compliance initiatives, supporting Maven’s growth both domestically and internationally.
- Responsibilities include developing compliance programs, leading audits and investigations, creating policies, advising leadership, monitoring regulatory changes, and designing training and monitoring systems.
- The role requires 10+ years of healthcare privacy and compliance experience, knowledge of regulations like HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and experience with managed care, government programs, and industry standards.
- The position offers a salary range of $180,000-$215,000 annually, with equity and benefits, and a hybrid work model primarily based in the US, with specific in-office requirements in NY and other cities.

Requirements
- 10+ years healthcare privacy and compliance experience
- Experience developing and managing compliance programs in a regulated industry
- Leading compliance audits, investigations, and risk assessments
- Experience with managed care and/or government programs
- Working with regulatory agencies and payors
- Leading healthcare, corporate, and commercial audits and certifications (NCQA & HITRUST a plus)
- Interacting and presenting to executive leadership
- In-depth knowledge of regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Leadership and managerial skills to motivate compliance teams
- Thought leadership and ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail
- Positive, optimistic leadership style and collaborative mindset
- Experience in telehealth or digital health (helpful)
- Global compliance experience (helpful)
- Professional compliance certifications (e.g., CCB, CHC, HCISPP, CIPP) (helpful)
- Active work authorization in the US
