About Lifeworks

Lifeworks is a Minnesota 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization founded in 1965 by parents of children with disabilities. Our mission is to serve our community and people with disabilities as we live and work together. We envision a community where people with disabilities are more broadly valued, hired by employers, receiving support, and participating in ordinary activities. Through Fiscal Support, Employment, and Day Services - as well as through partnerships with nearly 300 businesses - Lifeworks provides support to 2,500 individuals with disabilities and their families throughout the Twin Cities and greater Mankato area.
