Description
  • Provides well site service to customers utilizing knowledge of company products and services in conjunction with experience in drilling fluid technology to optimize service quality and rig performance.
  • Responsibilities include providing technical guidance to maximize rig performance and well stability, interpreting drilling fluid programs, scheduling materials, maintaining inventory, overseeing solids control operations, and ensuring equipment compliance. The role also involves daily reporting, troubleshooting, mentoring lower-level technicians, and assisting in training new employees. The physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in outdoor environments with exposure to weather, fumes, and noise.
  • Qualifications include a bachelor's degree, 2-3 years of oilfield experience or equivalent, valid driver's license, and drilling fluids technology training. Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills are essential, along with physical ability to perform job duties in demanding conditions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Minimum of two to three years oilfield experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
