Description

- As a Senior Applied AI Engineer, you will be responsible for building AI-native products, prototyping rapidly with GenAI models, and transitioning prototypes into scalable systems.
- You will work closely with engineering, product, and operational teams to identify AI leverage points, research cutting-edge AI techniques, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, trustworthy AI solutions that address healthcare challenges.
- The role emphasizes full lifecycle ownership, experimentation, and continuous exploration of emerging AI models and tools, with a focus on real-world impact and ethical AI practices.

Requirements
- A track record of building AI-powered systems that move rapidly from prototype to production
- Strong proficiency with LLMs, prompt engineering, context engineering, agent orchestration, and multi-agent systems
- Fluency in Python and hands-on experience with Gen AI frameworks (Chat Completions API, vLLM, Crew AI, Strands, etc.)
- Full stack engineering skills with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Vue and back-end systems like FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Experience translating customer or business needs into full stack AI features
- Deep understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and applying them to real-world problems
- Ability to build quick demos, debug AI behavior, and develop agent workflows or model pipelines
- Discipline to test, refactor, and scale systems with reliability and maintainability
- Motivation to craft internal AI tools and customer-facing solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with GenAI models, prompt engineering, and AI experimentation
- Experience with healthcare data modalities (preferred)
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (preferred)
