- The position involves technical leadership in designing and implementing high-reliability embedded software, process improvement, quality assurance, and strategic program management.
- Responsibilities include leading architectural design, enforcing best practices, conducting code reviews, and serving as a technical contributor.
- The manager will also oversee resource allocation, budgeting, proposal development, mentorship, recruitment, performance management, and resource balancing within a matrix organization.
- The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, with at least 9 years of software development experience (or 7 with a Master's), 2+ years in a leadership role, and active DOD Secret Clearance.
