- We are currently looking for a Director of Food Science in the United States.
- We are seeking an innovative and experienced Director of Food Science to lead the technical vision and execution of product development across a fresh and frozen food portfolio.
- This role will oversee end-to-end product innovation, from concept through commercialization, ensuring excellence in formulation, food safety, and processing.
- The ideal candidate will bring expertise in R&D, product development, and cross-functional leadership within a manufacturing environment, coupled with a passion for delivering high-quality, nutritious products.
- This position requires strategic oversight, hands-on project management, and collaboration with teams including Operations, QA, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Nutrition.
- Remote work offers flexibility while allowing meaningful engagement with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Nutrition, Chemical Engineering, or related field; Master’s or Ph.D. a plus.
- 8–10+ years of progressive experience in food R&D, product development, or process engineering, with exposure to fresh or frozen food systems.
- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional innovation and commercialization projects.
- Strong technical understanding of ingredient functionality, formulation principles, thermal and non-thermal processing, and food safety systems.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to bring products to market efficiently.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Passion for pets and alignment with the mission of improving animal health through real, fresh food.
