Description
  • This position is responsible for managing all B2B sales activities within a specific territory.
  • This requires regular consultative contact with every account in a designated territory to grow merchandise, equipment, and service sales with existing customers and a heavy emphasis on obtaining new customers and sharing the Henry Schein value messaging.
  • This position is expected to form a business relationship with the customer built around the relevance of Henry Schein to the customer's needs associated with business practices, merchandise, equipment, and service.
  • Key responsibilities include achieving quarterly and annual sales gross profit goals, coordinating sales efforts within the territory, developing and increasing merchandise, equipment, and service sales through face-to-face contact and regular reviews, actively seeking new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking, and social media, and attending sales meetings, industry events, and training programs.
  • The role requires professional selling skills, excellent communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office, attention to detail, project management skills, and at least 2 years of prior sales experience (preferred).
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is typically required.
  • The candidate should be goal-oriented, effective in time management, skilled in client prospecting and account management, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation, and project management skills are essential.
  • The position involves extensive travel within a specific geographic territory.
