  • As an Indirect Tax Analyst on GitLab’s Multinational Tax team, you’ll help ensure that GitLab complies with global indirect tax obligations while supporting a fast-growing, all-remote business. You’ll oversee and improve end-to-end indirect tax processes, from preparing and reviewing value added tax (VAT) returns and reconciliations to managing monthly accruals and settlements, so that internal stakeholders can rely on accurate, timely tax data to make decisions. Reporting to the Multinational Tax Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with accounting, finance, legal, and operations, as well as external tax service providers and advisors, to interpret global indirect tax regulations, respond to legislative changes, and strengthen our control environment, including documenting and maintaining SOX control processes. In your first year, you’ll focus on driving compliance, implementing process improvements and automation, and contributing indirect tax expertise to cross-functional projects like system changes, product launches, and financial reporting.
