Description
- This individual will be responsible for performing heavy SQL data analysis in support of Business Analysts and Project Managers. In addition, develops, administers, maintains, and supports policies and procedures for creating interfaces between and/or converting data from client existing and legacy systems to Geographic Solutions systems. Designs programming specifications through interaction with business owners and subject matter experts. Ensures correct functionality and accuracy of the interface or conversion scripts. Familiar with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the labor market industry as well as job services concepts. Relies on direction and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision.
- THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION. CANDIDATE MUST COME TO WORK AT CORPORATE OFFICE IN PALM HARBOR, FL.
- Key Responsibilities include handling table changes in SQL, merging records, testing data, troubleshooting federal reporting issues, resolving data inaccuracies, working directly with clients, making recommendations for data quality improvements, designing advanced SQL queries, leading data conversion projects, collaborating with developers, understanding the full development lifecycle, optimizing SQL code, developing specifications, working with team leads, processing change requests, preparing technical documentation, and managing various projects.
- Communication Skills required include excellent written and oral communication, and the ability to interface with internal teams and external clients.

Requirements
- Significant experience in project management, technical skills, program, and system knowledge as defined by GSI four quadrants.
- Experience with SQL skills, MS Office, MS Project.
- Strong MSSQL skills including proficiency with data tables, merges, and table changes.
- Two or more years’ experience with data analysis in a software/IT development setting.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to write simple and complex SQL queries.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to document database designs and conversion maps.
- Familiarity with data corruption and database recoverability methods.
- Ability to learn and master business rules and data interactions.
- Ability to monitor and resolve database performance issues.
- Advanced Microsoft SQL Server knowledge including T-SQL, stored procedures, indexes, triggers, SSIS, import/export.
- Understanding of WIOA, UI programs, Tax, WP, Trade, SNAP, TANF, etc.
- Knowledge of GSI products and modules.
- Understanding of the Virtual OneStop system, OPC/Intranet, Unemployment Insurance, and workforce programs.
- May be required to travel to client locations for data conversion planning.
