- General Matter is seeking a Fluid Systems Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and deployment of fluid systems for their uranium enrichment facility.
- The role involves developing reliable, manufacturable systems that move, store, and control fluids critical to enrichment operations, from early sizing and architecture through detailed mechanical design, testing, and production ramp-up.
- Responsibilities include system sizing and performance analysis, translating requirements into hardware concepts, designing pressurized and unpressurized components, conducting structural and mechanical analysis, driving design-for-manufacturability improvements, leading first-article builds, planning development and testing, defining concepts of operations, and participating in design reviews.
