Description
  • The Senior Government Accounting Manager is responsible for compliantly developing Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRPs) and the annual Incurred Cost Submission (ICS) for the GE Aerospace Defense & Systems organization.
  • This role partners with functional leadership to enable compliant operating practices, policies, and indirect rates that maximize recovery of costs on US Government contracts.
  • Key responsibilities include analyzing financial data, managing rate lifecycle processes, supporting audits, applying lean concepts to streamline processes, and engaging with government regulators such as DCMA and DCAA.
  • The role also involves preparing cost forecasts, performing variance analysis, supporting rate negotiations, and ensuring accurate ICS reconciliation.
  • The position requires a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field, with 4+ years of cost analytics experience and 3+ years in cost accounting, along with significant knowledge of government regulations (CAS, FAR, DFARS, DCAA).
  • Preferred qualifications include an MBA, CPA/CMA, government audit experience, and proficiency with tools like Excel, Oracle, Tableau, and data mining tools.
