Description
- We are seeking a Field Engineer to join our team supporting the Uranium Processing Facility!
- This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
- Responsibilities include executing field work for fire protection and suppression piping systems, conducting field walkdowns, identifying installation restraints, coordinating with project teams, and supporting fire protection system completion while adhering to NFPA 13 and 14 standards.
- The role requires proven experience as a Field Engineer or Superintendent with a background in piping system execution, ability to perform inspections, climb scaffolding, and resolve installation issues.
- Familiarity with NFPA codes is preferred but not required.
- The site is part of the Y-12 National Security Complex, supporting nuclear and defense missions.
