Description
- This job is fully remote, a 1099 contract position partnering with U.S. schools to deliver virtual instruction through live-streamed certified educators.
- The role involves interpreting spoken language into sign language and vice versa, with a focus on educational settings for high school students.
- Candidates must hold a valid Georgia Educational Interpreter License or a National Interpreter Certification (NIC), possess a Bachelor's Degree, and have proficiency in sign language, strong communication skills, and understanding of classroom subject matter.
- The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:15 am to 2:45 pm EST for the 2025-26 school year.
- Equipment such as a laptop or desktop, webcam, headset, and reliable internet are required.
- Prior online interpreting experience is a plus.
- This is a contract role without benefits.
