At Files.com, the Head of AI Initiatives will be responsible for embedding AI into the company's operations and products, building real, operational AI infrastructure that powers customer-facing features and internal workflows.
The role involves identifying high-leverage AI opportunities, building end-to-end AI systems, evaluating models and tools, creating reusable libraries and workflows, implementing knowledge and context systems, and training the company on AI capabilities.
The candidate will own the AI stack, develop standards and libraries, and establish governance for safe and effective AI use.
The role aims to significantly increase the number of production AI initiatives, build a repeatable deployment pipeline, and raise AI competence across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a practical AI expert, hands-on builder, and effective teacher, with a focus on reliability, security, and system durability.
