  • About this role: As a CPAM SME/ Accounting Specialist you will ensure accounting activity recorded within the company’s records and books are accurate and complete.
  • You will need to demonstrate technical accounting expertise in process implementation, fixed asset accounting, and adherence to established accounting policies.
  • Adept at supporting business management with insightful financial analysis and guidance, particularly during system changes and M&A activities.
  • You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your discipline or functional area.
  • You are expected to provide informal guidance to new team members and be able to explain complex information to others.
  • It is your responsibility to use technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems.
  • Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your team’s work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.
  • Key Responsibilities Review and update process documents, SOPs, and Accounting Manual to simplify, standardize, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for CPAM’s RCM, SOX responsibilities, audit requests, and global projects.
  • Implement quality checks and explore automation opportunities to enhance CPAM activities and ensure timely execution.
  • Conduct data analytics and annual verification of the fixed asset register, addressing inconsistencies and process enhancements.
  • Oversee the Asset Maintenance Reporting Team and other analytical procedures related to asset management.
  • Update and design training materials, proactively educate and collaborate with stakeholders to simplify process and address knowledge gaps.

🎯

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor of Commerce; Chartered Accountant or US CPA preferred
  • Core Fixed Asset Accounting experience (6+ years)
  • Strong SAP experience in Fixed Asset Module (3+ years)
  • Experience of working with US based MNC
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Highly collaborative and able to work across levels & roles
  • Strong proficiency in automation and productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros, Power Automate, etc.)
  • Process oriented and strong technical knowledge in fixed asset accounting
