Description
- Dexter health is an AI-first healthtech startup that develops Dexter Mobile, a native app aimed at reducing administrative work for nurses.
- The Senior UI/UX Designer will be responsible for owning the end-to-end UX and UI of the mobile app, redesigning workflows, creating wireframes and prototypes in Figma for iOS and Android, and building a design system.
- The role involves working closely with founders and engineers, using user feedback and analytics tools to improve the product, and optionally supporting marketing visuals and web UI/UX.
- The position is remote, with a focus on shipping new features weekly and continuously improving workflows to enhance healthcare professionals' daily lives.
🎯
Requirements
- 3–5+ years as Product Designer or UI/UX Designer on digital products.
- Portfolio with 2–3 case studies showing problem, process and shipped results.
- Strong experience designing mobile apps for iOS and/or Android.
- Advanced Figma skills: components, auto-layout and basic design systems.
- Strong UX fundamentals: flows, IA, interaction patterns and visual hierarchy.
- Experience working closely with engineers; our mobile team uses Flutter/Dart.
- Comfortable running simple user tests and iterating based on feedback.
- Clear communication in English and comfort working in a fast-moving startup.
