  • **About the Role:**
  • The Analyst, Corporate Development and M&A will play a critical role in supporting Crusoe’s inorganic growth strategy across its core sectors: Power, Industrial Process and Manufacturing, Real Estate and Software. This highly visible position will be deeply involved in all phases of mergers & acquisitions (M&A), strategic investments, and structuring strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is a high-performing professional with robust financial expertise and transaction experience. The role will report directly to the SVP of Strategic Finance and Corporate Development.
  • This role will be required to be based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.
  • **What You'll Be Working On:**
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Divestitures
  • Market Mapping and Origination: work across organization units to identify acquisition targets, create market maps, research, and outreach.
  • Transaction Execution: support all phases of M&A including target identification, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Financial Modeling & Valuation: build models for valuation, accretion/dilution, and precedent transactions.
  • Due Diligence: coordinate cross-functional teams, synthesize findings, develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Market Analysis: analyze industry and competitive landscape within Industrials, Energy, and Real Estate sectors.
  • Prepare and present transaction rationale to leadership.
  • Strategic Investments & Partnerships
  • Sourcing and Evaluation: assess strategic investment and partnership opportunities.
  • Deal Structuring: assist in structuring and negotiating terms.
  • Business Case Development: create investment memorandums and presentations.
  • General Corporate Development
  • Pipeline Management: maintain a pipeline of targets.
  • Commercial Activities: attend conferences and industry events.
  • Reporting: prepare analytical reports on market trends, portfolio, and deal progress.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with internal leaders for strategic needs and integration.
  • **What You'll Bring to the Team:**
  • 1-3+ years in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, or Transaction Advisory.
  • Experience in M&A transactions, structuring, modeling, and memos.
  • Sector knowledge in Industrials, Energy, and/or Real Estate preferred.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • High professionalism, curiosity, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proactive, independent, and team-oriented mindset.

  • **Compensation Range:**
  • Up to $100,000 - $140,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units included. Compensation depends on experience, education, and internal factors.
